Research Where Culture Lives
[ENG] The results of the Where Culture Lives study map out how culture is experienced and passed on within the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom.
Where Culture Lives
[ENG] For our potential activities in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom, we take the existing context in the region as our starting point. One of the sources we utilize is Where Culture Lives, a baseline study of arts and cultural practices commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) in collaboration with the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland (RCN) and conducted by Lemonade Research & Consultancy BV and partners across Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Statia and Saba. This study explored how people across the ABCSSS islands engage with arts, culture and heritage in everyday life and aimed to identify appropriate methodologies for future cultural monitoring within the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
