Wil je je werkzaamheden verder professionaliseren? Bijvoorbeeld door scholing te volgen, passende tarieven te vragen of voorzieningen voor pensioen of ziekte te regelen? Met onze praktische tools helpen we jouw naar een gezonde en duurzame beroepspraktijk. Dit doen we in Nederland, maar willen we nu ook doorzetten in de Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Sint Maarten, Saba en Statia. Daarvoor is het voor ons belangrijk om te weten wat jij nodig hebt.

Do you want to further professionalize your work? For example by taking courses, asking for fair rates or arranging provisions for pension or illness? With our practical tools, we help you build a healthy and sustainable professional practice. We do this in the Netherlands, but now want to expand this to Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saint Martin, Saba and Statia as well. To do so, it’s important for us to know what you need.

What is Platform ACCT and what can it do for me?

Platform ACCT is an organization based in Amsterdam that works to improve working conditions and create more opportunities for all people working in the cultural and creative sector. To make sure we can help people working in the cultural and creative sector living in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Saba and Statia we want to know what your practice looks like:

  • What does your work look like?

  • What challenges do you experience?

  • What could help you to continue doing your work?

We would love to hear your story! Our colleagues Jet Parent and Martin Verboom will visit all six islands during the beginning of November 2026. Throughout their visit and the conversations they will have we want to better understand what artists and creative entrepreneurs need on the different islands. Based on these conversations, Platform ACCT will explore which activities and forms of support could best respond to the needs of artists and creative entrepreneurs

Our partners

Our first partnership was together with Qredits Bonaire where we provided training and education through the Qredits Qreative Business Academy. Participants who complete this program receive a 50% reimbursement of the participation fee via Platform ACCT.

Platform ACCT carries out activities in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). We take part in a bimonthly meeting to ensure that all activities are aligned with OCW and other partner organizations: Boekmanstichting, Cultuur + Ondernemen, DEN, Kunsten ’92, Stimuleringsfonds, LKCA, Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland, Fonds Podiumkunsten, Letterenfonds, Mondriaan Fonds, DutchCulture, Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie, and the Nederlands Filmfonds. What can we already offer you

  • We currently have opened a few of our financial contributions to every creative professional based in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saint Martin, Saba and Statia.
  • For all self-employed individuals we offer financial contributions for costs of your pension provision or disability provision. Interested? Find more information for pension provision here, and for disability provision here.
